Hooked on Quilting

Quilting is truly an American art form born from necessity and creativity. I would imagine most of us have some quilters in our family tree, even if they are forgotten. In my case it’s my mother & grandmother. They did simple, basic quilts that kept us nice & warm on cold winter’s nights and are treasured to this day. This piece is dedicated to all the creative women (and men) who made something beautiful & functional out of scraps of cloth. Happy Stitching, Eileen
